Purchase of agricultural products, Slovenia, November 2011 - final data

The total value of agricultural products purchased in November 2011 amounted to EUR 44.0 million, which is 10% less than in October 2011. At the annual level the value increased by 5%.
The value of purchase in arable farming much lower than in the previous monthThe value of purchased products in the group arable farming was much lower than in the previous month (by almost 77%). The value of purchased cereals was lower by 76% because of lower purchased quantities of grain maize and wheat. Lower than in the previous month were the values of purchased vegetables and industrial plants. The value of purchase in livestock breeding slightly higher than in the previous month
Compared to October 2011, the value of purchased livestock was higher by 11% (the quantity of purchased bulls was higher by almost 13%, and of porkers by 14%). The total value of purchased poultry and eggs was slightly lower (the quantity of purchased chickens was lower by 1%, and of eggs by 13%). The value of purchase in fruit and wine growing higher than in the previous monthIn the group fruit and wine growing the total value of purchase in November 2011 was almost 24% higher than in the previous month, mainly due to higher values of purchased grapes and fruit plants.
