Performance of enterprises, by activity and cohesive regions, Slovenia, 2009 - final data

Final data on performance of local units of enterprises by cohesion regions of Slovenia for 2009 are now published in the SI-STAT database.
More turnover in Zahodna Slovenia
Of the total turnover of EUR 72,937 million, the larger part was generated by local units in the cohesion region of Zahodna Slovenia (58%). In Zahodna Slovenia local units generated the majority of turnover in service activities of sections G to N and S95 (66%), with trade (G) having the largest share of turnover among all service activities (66%). Among industrial activities of sections B to F the majority was generated in manufacturing activities (C) (58%). In Vzhodna Slovenia the majority was generated by local units in industrial activities of sections B to F (58%), among them 69% by local units in manufacturing activities (C).
Vzhodna Slovenia employs more people in industry and construction, Zahodna Slovenia more in services In Vzhodna Slovenia the majority of employees are employed in industry and construction (B to F) (59%), in trade (G) (17%) and in other services (H to N and S95) (25%). Methodological note Data on structural business statistics are published by the Standard Classification of Activity - SKD 2008. Activities observed by structural business statistics are: sections B – mining and quarrying, C – manufacturing, D – electricity, gas, steam and air conditioning supply, E - water supply, sewerage, waste management and remediation activities, F – construction, G – wholesale, retail, repair of motor vehicles, H – transportation and storage, I – accommodation and food service activities, J – information and communication, L – real estate activities, M – professional, scientific, technical activities, N – administrative and support service activities and division S95– repair of computers, personal, household goods.

at the SI-STAT data portal, which enables simple browsing and exporting of data
into various formats. Registered users have the possibility to store tables for
