Methodological note
Only existing (statistical and administrative) sources are used for calculating the index of hours worked. For calculating hours worked the component method based on existing data integration is employed. Hours actually worked are derived from paid hours reduced or increased by particular components of hours worked. Included are: hours actually worked during normal working hours, hours worked in addition to those, time spent at the place of work on tasks such as preparing the site and time corresponding to short periods of rest at the work place. Hours worked exclude: hours paid but not actually worked, such as for annual leave, holidays and sickness leave; meal breaks and commuting between home and work. Detailed methodological explanations are available at http://www.stat.si/eng/metodologija_pojasnila.asp?pod=7.

Data on hours worked for the period 1st quarter 2009-4th quarter 2009, published in the First Release of 31st March 2010, are revised.
