KASPeR (Mapping application of statistical data e-dimensions)
Web mapping application enables visualization of statistical data by selecting spatial units in combination with various cartographic layers from the Google Maps tool. Zooming in offers you spatially more accurate data presentation while individual values for selected variables are obtained by moving the mouse over the spatial unit. Additional information on spatial unit is available in info boxes. The KASPeR application enables downloading of images and selected spatial layers with the data in vector (*. shp) format.
 
Interactive statistical atlas of Slovenia
Interactive statistical atlas of Slovenia shows data for selected statistical indicators on interactive maps of Slovenian statistical regions and municipalities, mostly in longer time series. In the tool a user can select indicators, territorial levels (statistical regions or municipalities) and available years. When moving the mouse over the map, data are displayed, same as when moving the mouse over the chart on the right-hand side. When selecting a region, the chart shows only municipalities of the selected region and it also provides an option to sort regions or municipalities by alphabet or by rank.
Slovene Municipalities in Numbers
The interactive electronic publication Slovene Municipalities in Numbers provides insight into differences and similarities between Slovene municipalities, as well as their position in the country. Each municipality is presented with a short article. Selected statistical data and indicators can be compared in tables. The population pyramid offers a view on the basic demographic picture in the municipality.
GIS data
GIS data are georeferenced statistical data in vector format and are suitable for further use and analyses with standard GIS tools. Spatial data for cohesion regions (NUTS2), statistical regions (NUTS3), municipalities (LAU2), settlements and grid cells of different sizes ordered in a system of hierarchical grids are available. Population data are at the moment available in the attribute part of vector layers. Data are prepared in ESRI*.shp format.
Thematic Cartography

Application Thematic Cartography allows users to browse pre-prepared thematic maps of Slovenia. Thematic maps enable a clear and efficient review of phenomena at a selected spatial level (municipalities, regions, grids) for several statistical fields. The mapsare prepared to be viewed on screen or downloaded in higher resolution for printing.
Place names
The database of place names is a simple way users to learn how many settlements or streets in Slovenia have the same name and how often is an individual name repeated, where the settlements or streets you are inquiring about are located and also basic data on settlements viewed.
Maps and code lists of basic spatial units
The code lists of basic spatial units provide lists of spatial units with official codes. Spatial units are shown in various combinations (statistical regions – municipalities, municipalities – administrative units, etc.). In cases where the boundaries of spatial units are not coherent, we provide additional explanations. In addition to code lists, we also added maps showing the boundaries of individual spatial units.
