For information and analytical purposes, time series data for previous years, expressed in tolars and published in the SI-STAT Database, are converted into euros according to the methodology adopted by the Euro-coordination, led by the Bank of Slovenia and the Government of the Republic of Slovenia, the Board of Governors of the Bank of Slovenia and the Statistical Council of the Republic of Slovenia. All converted data are published in the SI-STAT Database, while some more interesting are also published in printed publications.

The methodology recommends two approaches to converting time series: using the fixed exchange rate, which preserves the index time series and is intended for analyses for Slovenia, and using the current average monthly or annual exchange rate, which is intended for international comparisons. Conversion in the SI-STAT Database is only informative.
