Methodology homepage offers links to numerous useful metadata. RAMON Metadata Server is used for publishing different statistical metadata categories (methodology, classifications, legislation, definitions, glossaries).

CODED database includes more then 6 thousand statistical concepts and definitions used for collecting and disseminating data. For a single term the source of definition and assigned theme(s) are stated.

Metadata (Special Data Dissemination Standard format) are used for Eurostat metadata in all domains, collections and indicators that are disseminated on the website. Metadata (SDDS format) are presented by Themes including Key indicators on EU policy. Metadata in the data navigation tree are as a rule available at higher levels of the tree structure, but can also be available at the level of a single table. The icon is displayed in case of availability next to the text.
