Statistical Office of the Republic of Slovenia

In the organisation scheme of the Government of the Republic of Slovenia the Statistical Office of the Republic of Slovenia is directly responsible to the Prime Minister. Director-General is appointed by the Government for the period of five years. The Office co-operates in preparing the state budget as an independent Government institution.

		In December 2009 the Office had 368 employees. Their average age was 44 years with 7.8% of employees younger than 30 years. More than a half (63.3%) of staff had university education. Women represent 70% of all employees, 85% of the top management and 64% of the middle management.
