9% less goods carried in the 2nd quarter of 2015 than in the 2nd quarter of 2014
In the 2nd quarter of 2015 Slovenian goods vehicles carried less goods in national transport and more goods in international transport than in the same period of the previous year.

In the 2nd quarter of 2015 less goods carried and more tonne-kilometres performed than in the same period in 2014

In the 2nd quarter of 2015 road goods motor vehicles registered in Slovenia carried 18.8 million tonnes of goods, performed 4.7 billion tonne-kilometres and travelled 303 million kilometres by loaded vehicles. In comparison with the 2nd quarter of 2014, this is 9% less goods carried, 13% more tonne-kilometres performed and 10% more kilometres travelled by loaded vehicles.

In national transport less goods carried, more in the international transport than in the same period of the previous year

In national transport more than 11.5 million tonnes of goods were carried, 496 million tonne-kilometres were performed and 52 million kilometres with loaded vehicles were travelled. Compared to the 2nd quarter of 2014, this is 20% less goods carried, 10% less tonne-kilometres performed and 1% more kilometres travelled by loaded vehicles.

In international transport 7.3 million tonnes of goods were carried, 4.2 billion tonne-kilometres were performed and 251 million kilometres with loaded vehicles were travelled. In comparison with the same period of the previous year, in the 2nd quarter of 2015 18% more goods were carried, 17% more tonne-kilometres were performed and 12% more kilometres were travelled by loaded vehicles.

Legal and natural persons carried less goods than in the previous year

In the 2nd quarter of 2015 legal persons carried 12.5 million tonnes of goods or two thirds of all goods and performed 3.3 billion or 70% of all tonne-kilometres; natural persons carried 6.3 million tonnes of goods or one third of all goods and performed 1.4 billion or 30% of all tonne-kilometres. In comparison with the 2nd quarter of 2014, legal persons carried 6% less goods and performed 23% more tonne-kilometres. In the same comparison, natural persons carried 14% less goods and performed 5% less of tonne-kilometres.
