9% more goods carried in the 1st quarter of 2015 than in the 1st quarter of 2014
In the 1st quarter of 2015 Slovenian goods vehicles carried more goods and performed more tonne-kilometres than in the same period of the previous year.

In the 1st quarter of 2015 more goods carried and more tonne-kilometres performed than in the same period in 2014

In the 1st quarter of 2015 road goods motor vehicles registered in Slovenia carried 15.2 million tonnes of goods, performed 4.4 billion tonne-kilometres and travelled 279 million kilometres by loaded vehicles. In comparison with the 1st quarter of 2014, this is 9% more carried goods, 18% more tonne-kilometres performed and 9% more kilometres travelled by loaded vehicles.

Both in national and in international transport more goods carried than in the same period of the previous year

In national transport more than 9.2 million tonnes of goods were carried, 502 million tonne-kilometres were performed and 47 million kilometres with loaded vehicles were travelled. Compared to the 1st quarter of 2014, this is 2% more goods carried, 23% more tonne-kilometres performed and 4% more kilometres travelled by loaded vehicles.

In international transport 6.1 million tonnes of goods were carried, 3.8 billion tonne-kilometres were performed and 232 million kilometres with loaded vehicles were travelled. In comparison with the same period of the previous year, in the 1st quarter of 2015 20% more goods were carried, 17% more tonne-kilometres were performed and 10% more kilometres were travelled by loaded vehicles.

Legal persons carried more goods than in the previous year

In the 1st quarter of 2015 legal persons carried 10.6 million tonnes of goods or 70% of all goods and performed 3 billion or 68% of all tonne-kilometres; natural persons carried 4.6 million tonnes of goods or 30% of all goods and performed 1.5 billion or 32% of all tonne-kilometres. In comparison with the 1st quarter of 2014, legal persons carried 13% more goods and performed 28% more tonne-kilometres. In the same comparison, natural persons carried approximately the same amount of goods and performed approximately the same amount of tonne-kilometres.
