Passenger traffic at the Ljubljana Jože Pučnik Airport up by 19% over May 2014
In May 2015, 21,000 more passengers travelled through the  Ljubljana Jože Pučnik Airport than in May 2014. The cumulative result of the first five months of 2015 was 477,000 passengers, which is 8% more than in the same period of 2014.

Buses in public scheduled transport carried more passengers than a year ago

In May 2015, 2.6 million passengers were carried by buses in public scheduled transport (interurban and international), which is 6% more than in May 2014, while in urban scheduled transport 3.9 million passengers were carried in May 2015, which is 4% fewer than in May 2014.

In air transport and in air traffic more passengers carried than a year ago

In May 2015, almost 116,000 passengers were carried by the biggest Slovenian air carrier, which is 22% more than in May 2014. With its planes 118 million passenger-kilometres were performed (i.e. up by 22% in the same comparison).

In May 2015, 128,000 passengers travelled through the Ljubljana Jože Pučnik Airport, which is 19% more than in May 2014.

More goods handled in port traffic than a year ago

Almost 1.8 million tonnes of goods were handled in the Port of Koper in May 2015, which is 16% more than in May 2014.

5,470 new passenger cars registered for the first time

In May 2015, 7,149 passenger cars were registered for the first time in Slovenia, of which 5,470 new ones, which is 637 more than in May 2014.

According to seasonally adjusted data, the number of new passenger cars registered for the first time in May 2015 was 1% higher than in April 2015.
According to working-day adjusted data, the number of new passenger cars registered for the first time in May 2015 was 14% higher than in May 2014.

Railway passenger transport in the 1
st quarter of 2015 lower than in same period of the previous year

In the 1st quarter of 2015 almost 3.7 million passengers were carried in railway passenger transport, which is 9% less than in the 1st quarter of 2014, and 161 million passenger-kilometres were performed, which is 10% less than in the 1st quarter of 2014.

In the 1st quarter of 2015 just over 4.3 million tonnes of goods were carried by train (equal to the same period of 2014), and 1,026 million tonne-kilometres were performed, which is a 3% increase compared to the 1st quarter of 2014.

Data on road public scheduled transport for the last 12 months are provisional. With each release the data for the last 12 months can be corrected and supplemented with new data.

Data for the new passengers cars registered for the first time for the current period which are compared to those of the previous period are seasonally adjusted.
Data for the new passengers cars registered for the first time for the current period which are compared to those of the same period of the previous year are working-day adjusted.

Data on port traffic for the last 6 months are provisional. With each release the data for the last 6 months can be corrected and supplemented with new data.
