16.5% more cars registered for the first time in February 2015 than in February 2014
In February 2015, 6,213 passenger cars were registered for the first time, which is 16.5% more than in February 2014.        

Buses in urban scheduled transport carried fewer passengers than a year ago

Buses in urban scheduled transport carried almost 3.9 million passengers in February 2015, which is 5% fewer than in February 2014. 

In February 2015, almost 2.4 million passengers were carried by buses in public scheduled transport (interurban and international), which is 6% more than in February 2014.

In air transport more passengers carried than a year ago

In February 2015, almost 61,000 passengers were carried by the biggest Slovenian air carrier, which is 4% more than in February 2014. With its planes 57 million passenger-kilometres were performed (i.e. up by 1% in the same comparison).

In February 2015, 72,000 passengers travelled through Ljubljana Jože Pučnik Airport, which is 4% fewer than in February 2014.

Fewer goods handled in port traffic than a year ago

Slightly more than 1.4 million tonnes of goods were handled in the Port of Koper in February 2015, which is 7% less than in February 2014.

4,611 new passenger cars registered for the first time

In February 2015, 6,213 passenger cars were registered for the first time in Slovenia, of which 4,611 new passenger cars.

According to seasonally adjusted data, the number of new passenger cars registered for the first time in February 2015 was 3% lower than in January 2015.
According to working-day adjusted data, the number of new passenger cars registered for the first time in February 2015 was 10% higher than in February 2014.

Railway goods transport in the 4th quarter of 2014 lower than in same period of the previous year

In the 4th quarter of 2014 almost 3.8 million passengers were carried in railway passenger transport, which is 8% less than in the 4th quarter of 2013, and 169 million passenger-kilometres were performed, which is 5% less than in the 4th quarter of 2013.

In the 4th quarter of 2014 almost 4.7 million tonnes of goods were carried by train and 1,100 million tonne-kilometres were performed, which is a 3% decrease expressed in tonnes and a 2% increase expressed in tonne-kilometres compared to the 4th quarter of 2013.

Data on rad public scheduled transport for the last 12 months are provisional. With each release the data for the last 12 months can be corrected and supplemented with new data.

Data for the new passengers cars registered for the first time for the current period which are compared to those of the previous period are seasonally adjusted.
Data for the new passengers cars registered for the first time for the current period which are compared to those of the same period of the previous year are working-day adjusted.

Data on port traffic for the last 6 months are provisional. With each release the data for the last 6 months can be corrected and supplemented with new data.
