Increase of passenger and goods traffic on three slovenian international airports
In 2014, passenger traffic on three slovenian international airports (Ljubljana Jože Pučnik Airport, Airport of Edvard Rusjan Maribor, Portorož Airport) increased by 3%, compared to 2013. 1.32 million passengers travelled through all three slovenian international airports. Also goods traffic increased by 5% and amount 9,808 tonnes of goods.

1.31 million passengers traveled in 2014 through Ljubljana Jože Pučnik Airport; 3% more as in 2013.
88% of all passengers were carried by scheduled flights. The largest passenger traffic with scheduled flights was recorded, same as in 2013, to or from Germany (19%) and the United Kingdom (12%). Biggest increase was recorded to or from Serbia (44%), on the other hand biggest decrease was recorded to or from Russia (10%).
58% of passengers on scheduled flights travelled between Ljubljana Jože Pučnik Airport and airports within the EU-28, 42% of passengers traveled on the routes between Ljubljana Jože Pučnik Airport and airports outside the EU-28.
The largest passenger traffic with unscheduled flights was recorded to or from Greece (38%) and Turkey (16). Biggest increase was recorded to or from Greece; number of passengers is bigger for one third, while unscheduled passenger traffic to or from Israel fell to the level of one fifth, compared to the year 2013.
52% of passengers on unscheduled flights traveled on routes between the Ljubljana Jože Pučnik Airport and airports within the EU-28, 48% on the routes between the Ljubljana Jože Pučnik Airport and airports outside the EU-28.
In comparison with 2013, goods traffic increased by 6% in the year 2014 and amount to 9,808 tonnes.
The biggest Slovenian air carrier carried more passengers and goods as in 2013
The biggest Slovenian air carrier carried more than 1,1 million passengers in 2014, which is 8% more compared to the previous year. At the same time transport of goods increased by 11%. More than 1,393 tonnes of goods were transported with airplanes.
