In January 2015 the quantity of milk collected from farms increased by almost 1% over January 2014.
Compared to January 2014 the quantity of collected milk increased by almost 1% in January 2015. Dairies produced  more cheese, but the production of other groups of milk products mainly decreased.

In January 2015 almost 1% more milk collected than in January 2014
In January 2015 the total quantity of collected milk increased by almost 1% compared to January 2014 and by almost 4% compared to December 2014.

Substantial decrease in the fat of collected milk
In January 2015 the fat content of collected milk was only 4.19%, which is the lowest January value since 2001. The protein content increased in comparison with the milk collected in January 2014. Compared with milk collected in December 2014, both the protein and fat content decreased.

Cheese production up
Compared to the previous month it increased by more than 10% and in comparison with January 2014 by almost 1%.

 

Decreased production of drinking milk in January 2015
In January 2015 the production decreased by around 10% over January 2014 and December 2014.

Cream production decreased compared to the previous month and increased compared to January 2014
Compared to the previous month, cream production decreased by more than 5%, while in comparison with the cream production in January 2014 it increased by more than 11%.

Acidified milk production continues to decrease
Compared to the previous month, the production of acidified milk decreased by less than 2%, but compared to the production in January 2014 the production decreased by more than 15%.

Production of butter also decreased
Compared to the production in the previous month, there was an almost 15% decrease, while in comparison with January 2014 the production decreased by 14%.
