In 2014 turnover from the sale of services 2.6% higher than in 2013
In December 2014 turnover from the sale of services was 1.3% higher than in November 2014 and 1.2% higher than in December 2013.

Turnover from the sale of services 1.3% higher than in the previous month and 1.2% higher than a year ago
After the decrease in November 2014, in December 2014 turnover from the sale of services increased at the monthly level by 1.3%. It increased in all monitored groups of service activities; the most in transportation and storage activities (by 2.6%), mainly due to the rise in land transport. Turnover from the sale of services increased also in information and communication activities (by 0.9%), in professional, scientific and technical activities (by 0.6%), in administrative and support service activities (also by 0.6%) and in accommodation and food service activities (by 0.5%).

In comparison with December 2013, in December 2014 turnover from the sale of services increased by 1.2%. In year on year comparison turnover increased the most in administrative and support service activities (by 7.3%), followed by transportation and storage activities. In year on year comparison turnover in transportation and storage activities was higher in all months of 2014; compared to the same month of the previous year in December 2014 it increased by 6.7%. Turnover increased also in accommodation and food service activities (by 1.1%). In December 2014 compared to December 2013 turnover from the sale of services decreased in professional, scientific and technical activities (by 6.6%) and in information and communication activities (by 1.6%). In both activities this was the fourth consecutive decrease in turnover in year on year comparison.

In comparison with 2013, in 2014 turnover from the sale of services increased by 2.6%, mostly as a result of the increase in transportation and storage activities.

Turnover in wholesale lower than in the previous month and lower than in December 2013
In December 2014 turnover in wholesale decreased by 3.9% over the previous month. In year on year comparison turnover in wholesale was growing since September 2013; but compared to the same month of the previous year in December 2014 it decreased again (by 6.4%). However, in wholesale turnover in 2014 was 2.9% higher than in 2013.
