The value of industrial production in November 2017 higher both at the monthly and at the annual level
Industrial activity in November 2017 increased by 0.7% at the monthly level and by 9.9% at the annual level. At the monthly level industrial activity increased in manufacturing (by 1.2%) and decreased in mining and quarrying and in electricity, gas and steam supply (by 4.0% and 2.8%, respectively).
In November 2017 the value of industrial production was 28.5% higher than the average of 2010. The largest long-term increase was recorded in high-technology manufacturing – 73.6% higher in November 2017 than the 2010 average.
In November 2017 turnover in industry with similar movement as the value of industrial production
In November 2017 turnover was higher by 0.6% compared to October 2017 and by 13.4% compared to November 2016.
From January to November 2017 industrial enterprises generated 9.3% more turnover than in the same period of 2016; as regards main industrial groupings, the largest turnover increase was recorded in capital goods industries (by 17.4%).
In November 2017 the value of stocks of industrial products higher than in the previous month
In November 2017 the value of stocks of finished and unfinished production increased by 1.0% at the monthly level; the same increase was recorded in manufacturing, while in mining and quarrying the value of stocks of industrial products decreased by 23.7%.
At the annual level the value of stocks of industrial products decreased by 5.2% and compared to the 2010 average by 20.6%.
