In the third quarter of 2017 lower prices of natural gas and higher prices of electricity

In the third quarter of 2017 households in Slovenia paid EUR 0.16 for 1 kWh of electricity and EUR 0.05 for 1 kWh of natural gas.

The average electricity price for households in the first quarter of 2017 was 0.16 EUR/kWh, which is a 1% increase over the second quarter of 2017. The average electricity price without value added tax for industry in the third quarter of 2017 was 0.07 EUR/kWh, which is a 2% increase over the second quarter of 2017.

The average natural gas price for households in the third quarter of 2017 was 0.05 EUR/kWh, which is a 5% decrease over the second quarter of 2017, while the average natural gas price without value added tax for industry in the third quarter of 2017 was 0.03 EUR/kWh; this is a 3% decrease over the second quarter of 2017.
