In July 2017 the value of industrial production was half percent higher at the monthly level and 6.4% higher than in July 2016. Compared to the previous month, turnover in industry was also higher (by 2.1%), while the value of stocks decreased by 0.8%.
The value of industrial production in July 2017 slightly higher than in June 2017
In July 2017 the value of industrial production was 0.5% higher than in June 2017. In mining and quarrying it increased by 20.0%, whilst the increase was smaller in manufacturing (by 0.3%) and in electricity, gas and steam supply (by 1.6%).
In comparison with the same period of 2016, in the first seven months of 2017 the value of industrial production increased by 7.1%. According to technological complexity, in the same time comparison the highest increase was in medium-high-technology manufacturing (by 11.7%).
Turnover in industry in July 2017 higher than in the previous month
In July 2017 turnover was higher than in the previous month (by 2.1%) and compared to July 2016 it increased by 10.4%.
In the first seven months of 2017 turnover increased by 7.6% over the same period of 2016.
In July 2017 the value of stocks of industrial products slightly lower than in the previous month
In July 2017 the value of stocks of finished and unfinished production was slightly lower than in the previous month and in comparison with July 2016 it increased by 4.9%.
If we compare the data for the first seven months of 2017 with the same period of 2016, an increase in the value of stocks can be established, namely by 5.7%.
