In January 2017, 89,400 passengers travelled through Ljubljana airport, 15,900 or 22% more than in January 2016. Around 10,400 road motor vehicles were registered for the first time in Slovenia in January 2017, about 1,000 or 11% more than in January 2016.
More passengers at the Ljubljana airport than in the previous year
In January 2017, 89,400 passengers travelled through the Ljubljana Jože Pučnik Airport, which is 22% more than in January 2016.
Around 72,800 passengers were carried by the biggest Slovenian air carrier in January 2017, which is 13% less than in January 2016. With its planes 69 million passenger-kilometres were performed (i.e. down by 15% in the same comparison).
Less goods handled in port traffic than a year ago
1.8 million tonnes of goods were handled in the Port of Koper in January 2017, which is 8% less than in January 2016.
Around 6,600 new passenger cars registered for the first time
In January 2017, about 8,600 passenger cars were registered for the first time in Slovenia, of which about 6,600 new passenger cars, which is 660 more than in January 2016.
