Decrease of total net electricity generation in January 2015 compared to December 2014
In January 2015 total net electricity generation was 1256 GWh, compared to December 2014 decreased by 3% and consumption was 1234 GWh, compared to December 2014 increased by 6%. Hydro power plants generation decreased by 33%, generation in the thermal power plants increased by 44% and generation in nuclear power plant stayed almost on the same level.
In line with the higher production in thermal power plants, fuel consumption in January 2015 also increased by 35%.
In January 2015, 811 GWh of electricity was imported and 800 GWh was exported.
Decrease of energy supply in January 2015
In January 2015 supply of energy commodities in general went down with exception of Lignite and Brown Coal supply rise with 31% and LPG supply rise with 7%. Compared with previous month we further noticed supply fell as 74% with Other Petroleum Products, 19% with Heavy Fuel Oil, 13% with Kerosene Jet Fuel, 9% with Motor Gasoline, 6% with Transport Diesel Oil and 5% with Heating and Other Gasoil.
